Top and bottom ratings in honesty of occupations



Top Five:

1. Nurses 90 per cent, up two percentage points from last year

2. Pharmacists 83 per cent, unchanged

3. Doctors 75 per cent, up four points

4. School teachers 74 per cent, up four points

5. Dentists, 65 per cent, up one point



Bottom Five:

1. Car Salesmen two per cent, down one point

=2. Real Estate Agents eight per cent, down two points

=2. Advertising people eight per cent, down two points

4. Newspaper journalists 13 per cent, up six points

5. Union leaders 14 per cent, up two points



Biggest changes:

1. University lecturers up 10 points to 64 per cent

2. Public opinion pollsters down eight points to 27 per cent

=3. Accountants up six points to 51 per cent

=3. Television reporters up six points to 18 per cent

=3. Newspaper journalists up six points to 13 per cent.
